- Corus boosts its growth in the French market with the appointment of Nicolas Bonnard as new CEO

• Nicolas Bonnard has been to date the head in France of Corus, the market leader in prosthetics and dental orthodontics in Europe.

• France is currently the second European market by turnover and is set to become Corus’ first market in 2022, with revenues exceeding 40 million euros.

• The company has 14 laboratories and a team of 300 professionals in the country who serve over 2,400 dentists.

Paris, January 2022 – Corus redoubles its commitment to the French market with the appointment of Nicolas Bonnard as the new CEO of the company in the dental sector, with effect from next March. Corus is the leading European company in cutting-edge dental prostheses that accompanies the dentist in the transformation of modern dentistry, through innovative and differentiating products and services, based on digitalization and aesthetics, with a holistic vision and focused on the patient experience. Corus is present in Spain with 15 laboratories, in France with 14 and in Portugal with 4.

Bonnard has been responsible for the growth of Corus in France, the second European market by turnover in dental prostheses and a strategic cornerstone for the group: In 2022 France is set to become the first Corus market by turnover, after registering an organic annual growth close to 10% since 2016, when the company started its operations in the country. In 2021, Corus' revenue in France amounted to 32 million euros. The 300 professionals that make up the company's workforce in this market serve more than 2,400 dentists, with approximately 180,000 patients.

Nicolas Bonnard, a graduate in Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers de Paris and a Master in Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, joined Corus in 2017 as Corporate Development Manager for the French market, and in2018 he made the leap to Country Manager of Francia. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Strategy Committee of the group.

After a first experience, as a researcher at the University of Berkeley, and as an engineer in Shanghai for Faiveley Railways Technologies, Nicolas Bonnard was Chief Investment Officer at LFC Partners, an independent French corporate finance firm. 

Specializing in the health sector, Nicolas Bonnard has been especially active, for eight years, in the creation and development of medical groups specializing in surgery, obstetrics, rehabilitation centers and clinical analysis.

Bonnard undertakes the position of CEO of Corus that until now was led by Juan Roma, founder of the company, and who will become Executive President of the group. Roma is also a partner of the private equity firm Careventures, Corus' main shareholder and investor, along with the company's Laboratory Managing Partners.
