Sofia, May 27^th, 2021 - The International Sofia Dental Meeting (SDM) is an annual dental forum, organized every autumn in the past 14 years in Sofia, Bulgaria. 

The Scientific Program consists in lectures, live demonstrations and workshops. All dental topics are covered: Endodontics, Esthetic rehabilitations, Prosthetics, Implantology& Surgery, Periodontology, Orthodontics, Pediatrics, Management of dental office. 

The Lecture program is parallelly organized in two lectures halls. Lecture’s length is 45 minutes, and the official language is English. 

The Live demonstrations give unique possibility to participants to watch in real time dental treatments. 
The demos are streamed from a dental office, the operator works under magnification and the audience can watch the procedures on the screen in the hall. The moderator in the hall gives the possibility to the attendants to ask questions and receive answers from the operator during the demonstration.

Workshops are 4 hours long, limited to groups of 15 people. A short theoretical part is followed by practical exercises on models. 

In addition to the scientific program there are Poster and Oral Presentations sessions. The jury decides and presents the Best Poster/Oral presentation award. 

The social program during the event gives the opportunity to attendants and lecturers to know Sofia city, to discuss what they have seen and learned during the SDM Gala cocktail.
