Sweden’s Top Dental Students Receive Prestigious Award
Freja Håkansson from the Faculty of Odontology at the University of Gothenburg, Hanna Dahl from the Faculty of Odontology at Malmö University, Linda Liljeblad from the Department of Dental Medicine at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm and Evelina Svanelind from the Faculty of Odontology at the University of Umeå have received the titles of the Best Dental Students and they will be awarded at this year’s Swedish Dental Exhibition (Odontologisk Riksstämma & Swedental) which takes place this year digitally on 11-13 November.
Since 1989, Dentatus AB awards the top student from each of the four dental universities in Sweden. This year, the prize has changed its name to The Bernard Weissman/Dentatus Student Achievement Award in honor of the company's former president, Mr. Bernard Weissman. Mr. Weissman was renowned as an inventor of dental products, instruments and techniques whose focus was always the development of affordable solutions that would benefit both dentists and patients.
